The S40 features a beam size of approximately 5.5 mm × 6.5 mm with a beam divergence of around 1.6 mrad. At the aperture, the guaranteed output power is 40 watts, with individual laser source output as follows:
Red: 10 W @ 638 nm
Green: 10.5 W @ 525 nm
Blue: 20 W @ 450 nm
The high-speed scanning system delivers 35 kpps @ 8°, with a maximum scan angle of up to 60°.
The laser unit adopts a sealed housing design, achieving an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. To ensure effective heat dissipation during operation, indium is used to fill micro-gaps between the laser diodes and the heatsink. Combined with precise thermal calculations and an optimized heatsink and cooling area, the bottom structure enables excellent thermal management, greatly enhancing system stability and significantly reducing maintenance requirements.
Each internal module is powered by an independent power supply, increasing circuit reliability. The built-in FB4 interface provides versatile control options, including ILDA, DMX, and direct Ethernet control via QuickShow or BEYOND software.
For safety, the system includes a European-standard remote emergency stop switch and a physical shutter.
The S40 is perfectly suited for professional applications, particularly medium to large-scale stage performances, large disco venues, and other large-scale party environments.
